Favorite city for skating, not skating , (why?)
I would have to say San Francisco because of the hills and culture. I've only been there a few times and it just feels alive. Seattle is always fun. Phoenix has tons of good spots and good skateparks.

Who/What're some of your influences?
In skateboarding I would have to say I was really into Zero and Jamie Thomas about 10 years ago. All my freinds throughout the years have all had impacts on my life and skateboarding. In life, my girlfriend and family have probably been my biggest influences. They keep me in check. They have taught me to be patient, understanding, loving, and to be a better healthier human.

Favorite time period in skating ?
The mid 90's stand out the most to me. Probably because thats when I was most centered in skateboarding. Thats all I could think, live, and do. As I've gotten older my attention to skateboarding has changed. I'm really stoked on skateboarding right now. I like how diversified it has become. Skate everything and anything, be creative, and original.

What's on the Ipod ?
Do MP3 players count? My player has all the best jams from Jimmy Hendrix to Jay Z. Maybe a little Metallica in between. Did I hear some Beatnutz, Watch Out Now, no it must have been Warren G, Regulaters, no no maybe it was Hole, Live Through This. I don't know I like all music. Music is good for the soul.

What takes up your time outside of skateboarding?
My family... They depend on me as much as I depend on them. Having kids is the hardest job in life. They need so much from you and the great thing about it is they teach us so many things. I love them so much. I also bought a house and have been fixing it up. Hopefully in a few years it will be worth alot of money and then I can buy house in Thailand. Now wouldn't that be nice.

What's a typical day in the life?
Wake up between 7 and 8 because them kids are up and ready to play. Eat some breakfast. Play with the kids while Mom's at school. When she gets home I head to work. If you can call it work. I head to MLSC Skateshop, thats right it's mine, and get busy working. Sometimes the man in brown will show up with some new product. Thats when work is fun, it's like Christmas morning opening presents. It's alway fun to see new stuff. Usually I'll take a break and head out to do a little Public Relations work over at the local skatepark. I'll check out what the kids are wearing and riding, but mainly to skate and shred my stick. Thats the best part about being your own boss, you get to do what you want when you want to. After a long hard day of work. I go home, eat a fine dinner, and play with the kids. Somewhere in there I manage to work on the house, watch a football game, walk the dogs, feed the dogs, clean up the dog shit, eat lunch, sleep, you get the point. I have a busy life.

Pet peeves?
Not having any good street spots where I live. Negative attitudes.

Why do you still skate?
I still skate because there is nothing like it. I haven't found anything that can statisfy me, both physically and mentally and be so much fun. Its always changing and evolving and being a skateboard we also change and evolve. Look at were skateboarders are headed. I bet in a 100 years there are going to be quiet a few famous artists, musicians, company owners, maybe even a president. Skateboarding is a way of life, we're like viruses infecting this world by going against the so called norm, breaking rules and boundaries and writing our own code, our own world. Everyone wants a piece of skateboading, but they'll never see it or understand it unless they actually ride the board.

Whatchu thank?
First, I would like to thank my girlfriend and family, thanks Alicia, Alex, Amarae, and Jackson. Second, all my friends out there, thank you for the good times, inspiration, and friendship. And lastly my sponsors, ATM Skateboards, Imperial Motion Clothing, Ipath shoes, Spirit, and MLSC Skateshop. Big thanks to the TOE nation.

Any plans or upcoming projects you'd like people to look out for?
Check out my house sometime thats been a project. I definetly making some good progress and the place is starting to look pretty nice. I'm working on putting out a new shop video, if I can get my shop riders to film anyways. Other than that maybe I should plan a vacation. Anyone got any good ideas on a spot?
