well after finishing the video up in Denver, and having CO been the mainstay for a few years, i needed change. I had been wanting to live on the east coast for a while.

Yeah its pretty random, i moved on the intentions to indulge into to various other creative realms, sounds kinda stupid , but then i ended skating a lot more in NY.
I knew Skateballs was underway and i felt like i owed it to the people to have a part before retired again. Since the release of the "Dont Act famous" video people have been like asking me why i didnt have a part or that they were hoping to at least see more footage. As far as a comeback . shit if you look at my history ive had the same amount of footy steadily over the years, so in a sense this would be the peak of my skateboarding with a video part, then seady decline.
So if indeed this is your first full length part, how bummed would u be if I just re edited halln ass to hall and Oates and threw you in there? That way if it's bad it could just go down in history as ian shulmans video.

I wish Ryan Stangland was down for a full part, but people are busy filmin for that 35th video, which will be amazing. I told everyone that gives me clips I don't care as long as they wanna be in the video and appreciate being in it I'm down. Its a lot of pressure to put on a near 30 year old man am for sure, but as you know im well acustomed to dealing with large scale productions and major blockbusters and i mean, were really just riding the wave of all the toebock hype
